Automated Adjusting Q & A

What is the ProAdjuster?

The ProAdjuster is a low-force, computerized instrument that incorporates similar technology once developed by NASA engineers. The device helps to alleviate and eliminate painful irritations in your spine by determining if your vertebras are out of place. If they are, the instrument uses innovative technology to correct the issue.

It’s a safe, painless, and effective treatment that works to relieve your pain, tension, headaches, digestive issues and more. Dr. Worley can customize the ProAdjuster procedure to fit your specific needs.

How does the ProAdjuster work?

The ProAdjuster instrument applies a light mechanical force to your spine – a force equivalent to tapping your fingers on the table – which then sends a reading to the computer evaluating the spacing between each of your vertebras.

After the ProAdjuster pinpoints your problem area, it begins to realign the misaligned segments of your spine gently.

Similar to a woodpecker tapping on a tree, the instrument continuously applies a precise, oscillating vibrational force to your vertebras. Doing so relieves the pressure on your nerve and ultimately eliminates your pain.

The technology automatically registers when your spine’s misalignment has been corrected and stops on its own. The ProAdjuster system also provides an analysis of your results for Dr. Worley, which he can compare to results taken after completing the procedure.

How does the ProAdjuster differ from manual techniques?

Before the advanced technology of the ProAdjuster, Dr. Worley would manually palpate your spine to check for joint fluidity, improper motion or any rigidity.

The ProAdjuster does something similar and determines if your spine is too rigid or too fluid by measuring your precise levels of motion. The instrument quickly works to isolate your problem area – a much more reliable and accurate technique than manual procedures of the past.

And, the ProAdjuster doesn’t require the typical “twisting or popping” adjustments that you might typically associate with chiropractic care.
